Host Congregations

Because we care deeply about the well-being of the kids in our community, and the stress the last couple years has put on them, the Lutheran churches in Central CT are committed to building spiritual, social and emotional wellness in kids (ages 3-12).
We are super excited about this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS). Camp Bruno: Tree of Healing will have all the fun(!) – dinner, games, crafts, songs, Bible Stories, Silly Skits and storytelling – families anticipate in VBS focused on healing – what makes me special, what makes me healthy, look at the different gifts/skills/abilities we all have, what do we do when something/someone is missing, and how have we/will we work together to be well.

Our Staff
Committed to building spiritual, social and emotional wellness in kids (ages 3-12), each week our VBS is led by a committed cadre of adults from our churches with various backgrounds.
This year we are thrilled to be working with Whitney Wilfred, a Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, MSW, and the Integrated Healthcare Clinician Supervisor at Wheeler Clinic, a Trauma Therapist, specializing children.
Besides loving what they do at Vacation Bible School and caring about kids, all of our volunteers and staff are following Safe Church policy, have been Safe Church trained and have had a background check. We are committed to keeping your kids safe.
If you have further questions, please contact us.
